On 25 October 2007, easyJet agreed to purchase GB Airways, a franchise operator for British Airways, with its history going back to 1931 when it had first been formed as Gibraltar Airways. By 2007, GB Airways operated a mixed fleet of nine Airbus A320 and six Airbus A321 aircraft. Easyjet took over the operation of GB Airways on 29 March 2008. At that time Two of the A320 aircraft returned to the British Airways fleet, wiith the remaining aircraft joiuning the easyJet fleet, before being gradually returned to their lessors.
Whilst with easyJet, the ex-GB Airways aircraft wore a "hybrid" easyJet livery and the photographs in this section show some of these.
